She has assisted a dermatologist in his practices, and holds extensive knowledge about the skin care regime.
She loves working in the skincare business with the public and seeks to make her clients feel comfortable, confident and beautiful in their own skin.
Dr. Mehjabin Parkar, MD is a Family Medicine Specialist in Richmond, TX, with over 18 years of experience in the medical field. She graduated from D.Y. Patil Medical College in 2002. She is accepting new patients and offers telehealth appointments. Dr. Parkar is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate, and affordable primary care services to individuals and families in the Sugar Land area.
Dr. Parkar has been a Board-Certified Family Physician for over 14 years. She completed her residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, in 2007 with departmental distinction. In 2017, she was awarded a fellowship by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). She has also served as the Director of Family Medicine at a federally qualified health care center and currently serves as the Chair of Family Practice at OakBend Medical Center in Richmond, Texas.
Dr. Parkar provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages and has a special interest in managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and mental health conditions. She places a strong emphasis on preventive healthcare, women’s health, and urgent care services.
Originally from India and raised in the Middle East, Dr. Parkar is fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu. Her multicultural background and commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care enable her to serve individuals from diverse communities with understanding and respect. She is married and the proud mother of two children, balancing a fulfilling family life with her dedication to medicine.
